We did 2 stem projects this week. The first one on Tuesday was you had to build a boat that held 25 pennies while floating in a bucket of water. You could only use one foot of plastic wrap, 3 inches of tape, and 10 straws. The second one on Wednesday was you had to build a puff car with only three puffs of air because when we where at lunch a meteor hit the earth. We had to build the puff car with one foot of duck tape, 4 life saver,s 2 straws, and 1 piece of paper. It was a challenge!

We got a new student this week named Alden! He told us that he has learned some of the same things we have at his old school in Framingham. We are happy he is here. He is really nice!
During our lunch on Wednesday, a meteor struck the Earth and we lost quite a bit of power! In order to save the little bit we had left, the students were challenged to create a car that could travel only by puffs of air. They were given a piece of paper, one foot of tape, two straws, two paperclips, and four life savers to create their car with two other classmates. In order for their cars to be successful, they had to travel a distance of at least ten feet in only three puffs of air! It was fun to see that each of the groups had found their own creative way to complete the challenge!
